Severe heat of 33 to 37°C is forecasted in some areas

North Korea on Tuesday issued heat warnings and has observed surging temperatures in Pyongyang, Kaesong, North and South Hwanghae Province and Kangwon Province. The forecasting department director of the State Hydro-Meteorological Administration said severe heat of 33 to 37°C is forecasted in some areas.

The Administration is focusing on forecasting the severe heat and striving to inform in a timely manner about heat in certain areas to take necessary measures. And it is concentrating its efforts on making scientific and timely analysis of the weather forecast.
