Severe flooding in Da Lat due to heavy rains

In the South-Central and Central Highlands regions in Viet Nam, unusually heavy rainfall has caused widespread flooding. The provincial Hydrometeorological Station reported rainfall of more than 60 millimetres, which overwhelmed drainage systems, flooding streets and even homes. Authorities have warned of potential flash floods occurring in small rivers and streams, as well as landslides on steep hillsides.
