Service welcomes coronation stone to London

A service was held at London's Westminster Abbey on Saturday to welcome Scotland's "Stone of Destiny". The stone was moved from Edinburgh Castle on Friday and is set to play a key role in the Coronation of King Charles III next week.

It is the first time in more than a quarter of a century that the stone is returning to England. The stone seen as the "Soul of Scotland" is 125 kg of sandstone, and carries significant symbolism for the Scottish people. It was returned to Scotland in 1996 after having remained in London for 700 years.
