







The honoring ceremony for the public service personnel who served the assigned duties from the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs at the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day celebration was held at the Wunna Theiddhi Stadium Build (B), Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 13th January.
In his remark, the Union Minister U Min Thein Zan expressed his honor for all personnel who served the assigned duty in the sports competition held in Wunna Theiddi Stadium from 14th December, 2022 to 4th January, 2023 in commemorating 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, those who practiced from 29th November, 2022 to 4th January, 2023 and participated in the Diamond Jubilee Independence Day and those who served catering the cultural groups from regions and states, providing necessary assistances in holding the sports competitions, recording, press releasing and shooting.
In honoring such public service personnel from the ministry, the ministry provides rice, cooking oil and chickpea worth over 9.95 million Kyats for a total of 743 staffs. The sport teams which secured the 3 gold medals, 4 silvers and one bronze medal are also especially honored.
Next, the Union Minister U Min Thein Zan, deputy ministers U Myo Hlaing and Dr. Soe Win provided rice, cooking oil and chickpea to each staff personnel, it’s learnt.
