

The Serbian Hydrometeorological Institute has warned of a heatwave in the coming days, with temperatures expected to remain between 37 and 40 degrees Celsius for at least a week.
Tropical temperatures will be felt across the country, even at night. Orange and even red weather warnings are in effect. People are advised to drink plenty of fluids, wear light clothing and avoid the sun during the hottest hours of the day. The city of Belgrade has deployed around 30 water tankers with drinking water to bus and train stations and major squares, urging citizens to drink and wet their heads to avoid heatstroke.
