Sepak Takraw competition: Bago Region CM awarded the prizes to winning teams

The 2025 Bago Region Chief Minister’s Cup U-23 Inter-Township Men’s Sepak Takraw Championship finals and award ceremony were held on the morning of July 8 at the Indoor Stadium on Shwemawdaw Pagoda Road in Bago City. The event was attended and officiated by Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win.

The ceremony began with individual introductions of participating team members, coaches, and referees.

Following that, the Chief Minister and region government ministers watched and supported the final matches of the U-23 Inter-Township Men’s Sepak Takraw Tournament.

During the award ceremony, prizes were given for Best Player Awards, third and second prize-winning teams in the doubles category, third and second prize-winning teams in the triples category. The region ministers presented trophies and cash prizes to each of the winners.

Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win then presented the championship trophy and a cash prize of 500,000 Kyats to the Bago Township team, winners of the doubles category, and the championship trophy and a cash prize of 700,000 Kyats to the Bago Township team, winners of the triples category.

Additionally, referees from the Myanmar Sepak Takraw Federation were awarded honorary cash rewards and commemorative gifts.
