Senator J.D. Vance nominated as Trump’s running mate

Former US President and 2024 Republican Nominee for President Donald Trump appeared at the Republican National Convention on Monday evening in Milwaukee.

Trump clenched the presidential nomination earlier in the day after running unopposed in the primaries. He chose 39-year-old Ohio Senator J.D. Vance to be his running mate, as the Republican Party officially nominated the former president to run again for the White House on Monday. Trump is scheduled to deliver remarks to the Convention later in the week.
