
Myanmar Police Force seized stimulant drugs worth 249.9 million kyats in Tant Yan Township, and those worth 224 million kyats in Loi Lin and Lashio.
According to the report, on 28 November, a combined forces included anti-narcotics police force stopped and searched a Honda Odyssey vehicle near Namhulwalka Village in Tant Yan Township based on information received. During the search, they seized 13.5 kilograms of ketamine, 0.17 liters of “Happy Water” liquid, and 2,600 Erimin-5 tablets from the vehicle. The driver, Sai Nyi Nyi Oo (a.k.a. Sai Shwe Aung), has been charged under the laws relating to the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
In addition, on 28 November at 8:00 a.m., a combined forces stopped and searched a Toyota Hilux on the Loi Lin–Taunggyi Road in Ward (2), Loi Lin, based on information received. From the vehicle, they seized 2 kilograms of “Happy Water” stimulant drugs. Further investigation led the team to the home of Ah Bon အားဘုံ in Ward (5), Lashio, identified as the supplier. A search of the compound uncovered an additional 0.08 kilograms of “Happy Water” inside a Mark-X vehicle. A total of five individuals involved have been charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
