Seizure of Restricted Chemicals: Over 500 million kyats worth confiscated in Southern Shan State

Over 500 million kyats worth of restricted chemicals were seized in Southern Shan State on 29th of June.

Acting on a tip-off, a combined team of Anti-Narcotic Force members conducted a search on four 22-wheeler trucks at Loilen Toll Gate, resulting the confiscation of over 22,000 liter of Hydrochloric Acid, 12,000 liter of Sulphuric Acid and over 26,000 liter of Dichloromethane Acid along with 8 suspects.

Further interrogation led to the arrest of 6 men in Loilen and Namt San as well as Pazundaung Township respectively. A total of 14 suspects have been taken actions in line with the law.
