Security Training Course for Gold Shops: Staffs from gold shops completed Security Training Course

1stSecurity Training Course for the staffs from gold shops in Yangon Region was conducted at the hall of Yangon Gold Entrepreneurs Association (YGEA) on Wednesday. The training was held with the attendance of officials from related Township Administration Council, gold entrepreneurs and agents. 

U Myo Myint, Chairman, Yangon Gold Entrepreneurs Association, said " In this security training, officials from Yangon Region Administration Council, polices and officials from the Ministry of Immigration and Populations conducted and discussed about security measures for gold shops.Currently, the association is continuously conducting Money Laundering Course for licenses of gold and metals once a month. The licenses will be issued as a new item to those who completed the Money Laundering Course by the Yangon Region Administration Council. I would like to invite to the staffs from the gold shops to join the course."

During the training period, criminal education for safety of gold shops and knowledge on security systems were conducted.

U Thein Lin Aung, Deputy Township Administrator( Pabedan), General Administration Department, said " The Myanmar gold entrepreneurs can contact us any time whenever they need assistance like havingdifficulties or providing information. We will support them as much as we can including awareness on security knowledge and technology."

According to the Chairman of the Yangon Gold Entrepreneurs Association,about 50 visses of gold from all regions and states have been distributed to the market after refining at the Gold Refinery.

Likewise, Myanmar Gems Enterprises also put on sales the gold coils which costs 2.4 million kyats for one tical. And also, the association always issues the information concerning the market price of gold.

At present, the association is conducting training courses on gold business free of charge with the aim to develop gold market and to create more job opportunities for the people. Money Laundering Course Batch 4 will be conducted on 1st February and training courses on gold business batch 23 will be offered from 2nd to 10th February at the No 42/50 on Shwebontha Street, Pabedan Township.
