Security patterns at polling stations

General elections are scheduled to be held in Indonesia on 14 February 2024.

Senior Officer of West Jakarta Resort Police said after conducting a security simulation in the polling stations, in Jakarta, on Tuesday, that under the 2-16-32 pattern, two police officers would be assigned to secure 16 polling stations and they would be supported by other 32 officers posted at the Local General Election Commission (KPU) and members of the Jakarta Public Order Agency.

In addition, he mentioned the election security activities will start from 19 October 2023 on the first day of registration of presidential candidates and their running mates.
