Security Council Haiti resolution

The Security Council adopted unanimously the draft resolution renewing the mandate of United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti until 15 July 2025.

Addressing the council after the cote, Haitian Permanent Representative said, “The Haitian government, through my office, welcomes the unanimous adoption of resolution 2743 which extends the mandate of BINUH for another year.

This represents the renewal of the international community’s commitment to work towards peace, security, and political stability in Haiti.”
