Second Global Parliamentary Summit against Hunger and Malnutrition opens in Chile

150 lawmakers from around the world attend the Second Global Parliamentary Summit against Hunger and Malnutrition in Chile, organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

During the summit, FAO Assistant Director-General said that food security is not about a single measure or a single stakeholder. Food security is primarily the responsibility of governments, and governments are responsible for the management of the national budget.
