


Organized by Myanmar Football Federation, Myanmar National League Committee, final match of the 2023 season of Myanmar National League II scoring match and Championship trophy awarding event were held at Thuwunna Footaball ground in Yangon in the evening on 12th September.
At the tournament, while Thitsar Arrman team and Universal team were playing against each other, Thitsar Arrman team had put in front after 25 minutes and just right after 53 minutes, Universal team scored an equalizer. The teams were still level until extra 4 minutes, but finally, Thitsar Arrman team grabbed Champion award and trophy after clear-cut scores.
The head coach of Thitsar Arrman team U Paw Tun Kyaw shared his feeling on worthy of efforts and winning the championship trophy.
Head Coach ,Thitsar Arrman Team ,Paw Tun Kyaw said " We won scoring champion and the award of highest goal scorer team. The match lasted around 6 months. I felt satisfaction and I’ve prepared to build team with youth as well in coming league 1 while my players are being the youngsters."
The scoring matches of MNL were held at Padonmar and Salin play grounds while the final match of the season was held at Thuwunna football ground. Efforts had been made for 5 months to win the Championship award in the scoring event of Myanmar National League II 2023, U Paw Tun Kyaw continued.
Head Coach ,Thitsar Arrman Team ,Paw Tun Kyaw said " I had built this team since before Thingyan period. We based in Nay Pyi Taw and the players were trained there and came to Yangon for the competition. Our Thitsar Arrman team is formed through the support of Fire Services Department. I’m so pleased for my children for the efforts throughout the whole season. "
At the match, the second runner up PORT FC team was awarded bronze medals for each player and 10 million kyats, the first runner up Universal team was awarded silver medals individually and 15 million kyats and the winner Thitsar Arrman team was presented gold medals and 20 million kyats respectively.
The awards were presented by Yangon region chief minister together with government officials and the officials from Myanmar Football Federation. The MNL II 2023 tournament was held from 24th April to 12th September.
