Marine biologists collect skin samples from humpback whales and leopard seals in Antarctica to detect the presence of mercury in their bodies. "We want to do our part to recommend plausible measures for the conservation and protection of these charismatic Antarctic mammals," says Colombian marine biologist Diego Mojica on a boat in Wilhelmina Bay, Antarctic Peninsula.
