Science Festival 2025: Festival hosted by NSPU

The Science Festival 2025, jointly organized by the Russian Federation's State Atomic Energy Corporation "ROSATOM" and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, was held at the Naypyitaw State Polytechnic University (NSPU) on November 24.

First, documentary videos of the Science Festivals held in 2023 and 2024 were shown. Union Minister Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw delivered the opening address, followed by a honorary speech by Mr. I.K. Azizov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar. Students from NSPU and Yamethin Technological University then performed traditional Myanmar cultural dances.

Afterwards, the Union Minister and representatives from the Russian Federation presented honorary awards to the winners of the "Splitting Color" art exhibition, and cash awards and gifts to the performing groups. They also toured and viewed the art exhibition and project shows presented by students and youth.

This Science Festival is being held at the Naypyitaw State Polytechnic University (NSPU) from November 24 to 25. Nuclear-themed puzzle game competitions will be organized for basic education students, and honorary awards will be presented.

Additionally, the festival will include screenings of the documentary film "Nuclear Now" by Oliver Stone, and the short documentaries "ATOM Egypt ENG Master" and "The City Falls Asleep". It will also feature a lecture and discussion under the theme "Nuclear Technology in Everyday Life" and sessions for sharing knowledge on nuclear-related topics, it’s reported.
