Science and Technology: MOST Union Minister visits universities in Myitkyina

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw visited Myitkyina Computer University, Government Technological High School (Myitkyina), and Technological University (Myitkyina) on November 14. He met with teachers and staff, encouraging them to continue producing skilled and well-rounded students who can contribute to regional development.

The Union Minister also discussed preparations for opening the Myitkyina Polytechnic University in the 2025–2026 academic year. He urged coordination with the Kachin State Government and emphasized systematic teaching to ensure high-quality graduates.

On November 15, the Union Minister held a coordination meeting at the Kachin State Government Office, discussing plans to open Level-4 courses for students who did not pass university entrance exams, helping them gain practical skills linked to local job opportunities.
