School Reopening: Preparation Measures For Reopening Of High School Classes

There are about 1.6 million High School Students across the country and among the, 1.06 million have already made school enrollments as of last Tuesday, according to the data of Ministry of Education.

There are 6,171 Basic Education High Schools, 1,000 Private High Schools and 4 Monastic High Schools to be reopened nationwide.

But the private schools with hostels and subject training schools were not allowed to reopen, it’s learnt.

The schools are arranged to reopen in line with the preventive measures as per the instructions of Ministry of Health and Sports to prevent the spread of disease.

Respective Administrative Departments, Fire Service Department and Charity Organizations will help not to occour mass gathering outside the school compound. 

The Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the parents, students and teachers have already drafted, and according to SOPs, the inspections have been made on the measures for preparations of reopening of the schools.

Depending on the Check-List, the schools will be set as Levels A, B and C. Although the schools with A-level will be allowed to open, the schools with levels B and C will have to be rehabilitated and inspected again.
