School Family Day: Mandalay Region organizes the event

The Regional Level School Family Day for 2022-2023 academic year was held at the Mandalar Thiri Sports Ground in Mandalay. 

The event aimed to emerge outstanding new generation youths for the nation in future and to become versatile students. 

San Aung, Deputy Director General, Mandalay Region Education Officer Office said "To become versatile students throughout the academic year, outstanding students are selected and presented awards. We intend this activity to emerge outstanding youths for the nation and to become good citizens who are in fitness and good health. We organize this event in honour of outstanding students. For the entertainment, the excellence and outstanding skills of the students in regard with the co-curricular activities that have learned throughout the year are shown."

Moreover, 14 booths representing the districts of Mandalay region were displayed at the Regional Level School Family Day. The entertainment program performed by 623 students in the districts also included in the event. 

May Thae Phyu Aung, Outstanding student said "I was awarded as I won the fourth prize at the 10th ASEAN Quiz National Level Competition. I got many experiences from the ASEAN Quiz. I met new friends and have friendly relations with ASEAN students. I’m very happy receiving prize. "

Khant Tayzar, Outstanding student said "I won the 2nd prize in arts and science subject the whole Myanmar. In regional level, I grabbed the 1st prize. In our academic year, we faced COVID-19 and we tried hard a lot by drawing plan for achieving.  We are very satisfied as our efforts are recognized. "

At the school family day, 105 prizes were presented to students who were awarded at the national and regional levels, principals who performed to get 100 percent passing rate in the matriculation examination for 2022 academic year and the senior teachers who were honoured on the World Teachers’ Day (National Level) respectively.
