





Kayah State organized the School Family Day for 2024-2025 Academic Year at the Township Education Office in Loikaw on 3rd January, with the attendance of Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin.
In his speech, the Chief Minister said the State Government is emphasizing for improvement of education gap in the state and called for collaboration of teachers and students in an effort for development of education sector which is the foundation of the socio-economic progress of the state.
During the ceremony, cash awards were presented to the winners of the 25th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition (Central Level), state-level English language proficiency competition, as well as the 13 performance teams from various schools.
In addition, winners of the state-level primary and middle school mathematics skill competition, 77th Independence Day commemorative painting competitions were also awarded with cash prizes and certificates of honour.
The event also displayed various booths showcasing handmade artworks, such as woven fabrics and embroidery, various artworks of the participants, Curriculum Exhibitions and documentary photos of competitions.
