School Family Day: Celebration held at No.1 B.E.H.S, Taunggyi

2024-2025 Academic year School Family Day was held at No-1 Basic Education High School in Taunggyi of Shan State (South) on 11th January.

Chief Minister U Aung Aung and Ministers of State Security and Border affairs, and Social Affairs opened the event by cutting the ribbon and they presented honorary cash to the performance troupes.

Then, the Chief Minister delivered an opening speech, stressing the need to turn out dutiful citizens for building a modern and developed nation through education promotion.

During the ceremony, prizes were awarded to the winners at Central and State level Intellectual and Physical competitions. This was followed by performance of songs and dances and Myanmar traditional martial art demonstration by the students.

The school family day features various activities including students’ innovation, market festival and entertainment programmes.
