School Enrollment Preparations: VP inspects school enrollment preparations in Nay Pyi Taw

Vice President Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye on Friday visited basic education schools in Nay Pyi Taw Council area to inspect preparations for the 2026–2027 school enrollment week. She oversaw the classrooms, libraries, and facilities to ensure students can enroll smoothly and have access to free school supplies, textbooks, uniforms, and learning materials. Teachers’ assignments and schedules were also reviewed to support quality education.

The Vice President emphasized integrated education, including knowledge, skills, and good character, to nurture capable future citizens. School enrollment for all grades will take place from May 25 to 31, including weekends, and schools will open on June 1. Free textbooks, notebooks, stationery and uniforms will be provided, and no fees are required for enrollment.
