






Kachin State Chief Minister U Khat Htain Nan attends the Kachin State school enrollment day ceremony for 2023-2024 Acadmeic Year, meets with returnees from IDPs to their native villages and conduct the field activities for the children to study when the schools reopen.
The ceremony of Kachin State school enrollment day for 2023-2024 Acadmeic Year was held at the No(1) B.E.H.S, Myitkyina Township in the morning on 24th of May. The State Chief Minister U Khat Htain Nan and concerned officials attended and opened the ceremony.
Firstly, the State Chief Minister opened the signboard with salogan of “Let’s send the children who are school-aged the school quickly not to far from the education” by pressing the electric button and the state ministers and township education head officer U Khin Maung Htwe cut the ribbon of the school enrollment singboard and took the documentary photo.
And then, the school enrollment day ceremony was continued at the Aye Myathida hall and the students sang the “Education is treasure” song and the state chief minister encouraged them.
After that, township education officer U Khin Maung Htwe clarified the activities of school enrollment in accord with District, Township in the state and the free education procedures.
State chief minister, chief justice of state high Court, State ministers and State education officers presented textbooks and exercise books to the middle and high school students provided by the Ministry of Education and presented cash of honor to the school band and cheerleaders team. The students concluded the ceremony by singing “World Class Education’ song.
And then, the chief minister and officials inspected the situation of school enrollment and provided the text books, exercise books, ball-point pens, pencils to the students.
In addition, the State Chief Minster discussed about the conditions of investment in projects with 8 billions of country’s economic promotion funds in accord with the district, township, wards and village tracts, procedures regarding plans to collect interests on loans with the members of the State Level Village Project Supervision Committee.
Similarly, The state chief minister met with the returnees from the IDPs in Myitkyina and Waimaw Townships to the native villages at DaBatYan Village Baptist Church. At the meeting, the DaBatYan Village administrator clarified village requirements and the departmental officials explained the arrangements for fulfill the requirements in line with the departmental procedures.
After that, the state chief minister and state ministers provided seed bags of the high yield rice Sin-akari-3 for 160 acres, corn seed bags for 200 acres for the farmers and cash assistance for the village receptionists.
After that, the state chief minister fulfilled the needs in collaboration with departments and provided cash assistance for the reconstructions of school buildings before opening the school.
And then, the state chief minister and party inspected around the situations of damaged primary school buildings in Da Bat Yan village and Kazuu village and facilitated the preparations tasks before school opens and activities of school enrollment.
After that, to implement of agriculture land in those villages, he inspected the farm lands chosen by villagers and he coordinated to be able to report in accord with the departmental procedures as the village and farmland included in the part of forest land .
