School Cleaning: Activities at No. 1 B.E.H.S (Magway)

Collective cleaning activities are conducted every Saturday in Magway Region for a clean and green environ in townships, pagodas, monasteries, schools and hospital compounds.
In the morning on 21st of October, Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and concerned officials oversaw the cleaning activities carried out by departmental staff in the compound of No. 1 Basic Education High School (Magway).
Under the guidance of the Magway Region Government, cleaning activities such as clearance of garbage, bushes and drainage system were conducted with the cooperative participation of the military personnel from Magway Station, Women’s Affairs Associations, Maternal and Child Welfare Associations, staff of the General Administration Department, members of the Myanmar Police Force and the Fire Brigade, Township Development Committee, departmental staff, teachers, ward administrators and social organizations.
Then, the Myanmar traditional snacks and water bottles were donated to those who contributed in the cleaning works. More than 4,800 people participate in the weekly cleaning activities at 22 townships.
