Saturday Activities: Collective mass walk and cleaning in Mawlamyaing

To make the public healthy and strong, to prevent diseases, to reach maturity, to improve the level of national sports and to carry out more sports activities involving the public, Mon State Government has been holding collective mass walk activity in December.

On December 16, Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein and many other officials as well as governmental employees and the public participated in the mass walk activity in Mawlamyaing. The activity also included fitness exercises and dance at the YaMaNya Sports Ground.

On the same day, the Chief Minister oversaw collective cleaning activity near U Khan Ti View Point and gave necessary instructions. It’s reported that the collective cleaning activity is carried out on every Saturday across Mon State for cleanliness and beauty.
