Samsung builds industry-first CXL infrastructure certified by Red Hat

Samsung Electronics announced on Tuesday that the successful construction of the industry’s first Compute Express Link (CXL) infrastructure certified by Red Hat, a leading provider of open-source solutions.

The new infrastructure at Samsung’s Memory Research Center in South Korea will allow the South Korean giant to directly verify CXL-related products, including hardware and software components.

Products verified by Samsung through the new infrastructure can be immediately submitted for registration with Red Hat, streamlining product development cycles for both Samsung and its customers. Samsung has already leveraged this infrastructure to verify its first CXL product, the CMM-D successfully.
