Saharan dust cloud blankets parts of Türkiye

A dust cloud moving in from Africa has affected large parts of Türkiye, turning the sky shades of orange and yellow.

Air quality has dropped across the Mediterranean and Southeastern Anatolia regions, while layers of dust have settled on vehicles. In Adıyaman, one of the hardest-hit areas, visibility has been severely reduced due to the density of the dust. Meteorological authorities say the dust transport is expected to continue until Saturday evening.
