The Covid-19 prevention practices are being conducted at No.6, Basic Education High School in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw.

To ensure a safe environment for the students, every school across the country has been conducting social distancing, temperature screening and Covid-19 preventive measures to the students before the schools reopen.

Headmistress, No.6 B.E.H.S (Nay Pyi Taw), Si Si Win said “Since before reopening the schools, we’ve been conducting social distancing practices at the school entrance gate and also we’ve arranged hand washing practices systematically as soon as entering the school and putting posters on health instructions of MOHS and Ministry of Education in front of the school. Then, we screen the temperature of the students and arrange hand gels at the classrooms.”

Only 20 students are allowed to sit per classroom with social distancing practices in line with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Sports, she added.

Headmistress, No.6 B.E.H.S (Nay Pyi Taw), Si Si Win said “We’ve conducted social distancing foot-print signs, hand washing basins and hand gels in front of every classroom. Also, we’ve put emergency contact numbers and private health care room in the school. As my opinion, it is good for students if the teachers, students and parents follow systematically the instructions of MOHS and Ministry of Education.”
