






The State Administration Council (SAC) meeting was held in the meeting hall of the SAC Chairman's office in Naypyidaw, with SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attending and delivering an opening speech.
In his opening remarks, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister mentioned the successful collaboration during recent good-will visits to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, the preparations being made for conducting election, and the potential developments in post 2025 that could influence the country's political changes.
He highlighted the urgent need for educational reforms, the necessity to boost domestic production to meet market demands, and emphasized the need for economic enhancement etc. in detail. Following this, council members and the council joint-secretary discussed the importance of ensuring free and fair elections for the upcoming general election, the electoral system to be used in these elections, the methods for voting, and the need to ensure that the public is widely informed about who is eligible to vote.
They also addressed the issue of eliminating armed violence in Kayah State and the difficulties faced in rebuilding homes destroyed by conflicts, including the need for affordable housing. Additionally, they discussed plans to hold the traditional Myanmar Thingyan Water Festival at the national level, which was inscribed on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage of Humanity this year, and the efforts to be put for the national level campaign for Myanmar Thanaka Culture to be enlisted in the list of intangible cultural heritage of Humanity.
Next, the SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the need to ensure the accuracy of voter lists and the preparations required for this. He reaffirmed the SAC's commitment to promoting national development and discussed the requirements in summoning People’s military servants in line with the law. After that, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister delivered the speech of conclusion and the meeting was concluded.
