In Johannesburg’s Daveyton township, many young people are turning to alternative ways of making a living due to South Africa's soaring unemployment rate, where nearly 45% of people aged 15-34 are unable to secure full-time jobs.

While many with certificates struggle to find work, some have chosen to use their skills to create opportunities rather than wait for traditional employment. In a township with high unemployment, the pricing for services may seem steep to some locals, but entrepreneurs are targeting customers from outside the area, seeking those who can afford the service.

Despite the challenges, they remain committed to progress, applying daily improvements both mentally and physically to grow their business.
