Russian TV reports shelling near hydropower plant

Footages showed the aftermath of a Ukrainian strike at the Russian-controlled Kakhovka hydropower plant. A bridge close to the plant was damaged and three out of six turbines were out of order at the moment.
The deputy director of the plant said that its destruction could be very dangerous as the water intakes of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant were directly fed from the Kakhovka reservoir.The plant is 60 kilometers upriver from the city of Kherson.
