Russian Navy Destroyers visit Yangon: Maritime Security Exercise and Goodwill Tour

Three Russian Navy destroyers, the Admiral Tributs, Admiral Panteleev, and the Sea Tanker Pechenga, have docked at Thilawa Jetty in Yangon. Their visit is to participate in the 1st Myanmar-Russia Maritime Security Exercise and to engage in a goodwill tour.
The contingent, led by Captain 1st Rank Aleksei Anciferov of the Russian Pacific Fleet, consists of about 800 crew members. During their stay, they will explore prominent places in Yangon, participate in bilateral sports events, and engage in the Harbour Phase Exercise.
