Russian language course : Opening ceremony of the course held in Nay Pyi Taw

The opening ceremony of the Basic Russian Language Course was held at the Golden Palace Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on June 30th, with the aim of providing better services to visitors coming to Myanmar. Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Kyaw Soe Win attended the event and delivered a speech.

In his opening remarks, Union Minister stated that the ministry is cooperating through public-private partnerships to participate in travel forums and tourism expos in order to attract more international tourists from potential tourism markets to Myanmar. He encouraged collective cooperation in all tourism development activities. He also urged the trainees attending the Basic Russian Language Course to study systematically, improve their language proficiency, and actively participate in the development of the tourism sector.

Following that, a trainer from Myanmar-Russia Friendship Association explained the objectives of opening the course and the contents to be taught. The Union Minister then presented commemorative gifts to the course instructors.

After that, the Union Minister, Deputy Minister, and members of the Nay Pyi Taw Council took a group photo with the trainees of the 3rd batch of the Basic Russian Language Course.
