Russian emergency planes drop water on Siberian forest wildfires

Planes of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations dropped water over wildfire-hit forests in the country's Zabaykalsky Krai region. The Russian Aerial Forest Protection Service reports that firefighting operations are ongoing on 19 fires active within an area of nearly 300,000 hectares of burnt land, as of early Friday.
