Russian communists laid flowers at Lenin's mausoleum on Red Square on Sunday to mark the 104th anniversary of the October Revolution, which saw the Bolsheviks come to power in 1917. The procession carried banners and flags of the Russian Communist Party and posters of Lenin and Stalin.

Communist Party leader spoke to the media after laying flowers at the mausoleum, stating the celebration of the anniversary was a path to a brighter future. The Communist Party went ahead with the march, which is a major holiday in the Soviet Union, despite coronavirus restrictions banning mass gatherings.
