Russian Communists mark Lenin's 99th death anniversary

Russian communists laid flowers at the Lenin mausoleum in Moscow's Red Square on Saturday, marking the 99th anniversary of Vladimir Lenin’s death.

Russian Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov praised Lenin’s achievements and urged the Russian government to “learn from Lenin how to win” in the conflict. Vladimir Lenin served as the first and founding head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1924 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924.
