Russia conducts joint air patrol with China over East China Sea and Western Pacific

The Russian Defence Ministry on December 9 conducted a joint air patrol with China over the western Pacific.

The approximately eight-hour patrol took place over the Sea of Japan, East China Sea and the Western part of the Pacific Ocean, the Russia's defense ministry said in a statement. China's defense ministry also announced that the operation, the 10th such joint patrol, was carried out as part of the two militaries' annual cooperation plan. China and Russia started the joint air patrol in July 2019.
