Russia and India conduct navy exercises in the Bay of Bengal

India and Russia conducted the 14th edition of their joint naval exercise, Indra Navy 2025, in the Bay of Bengal. This biennial exercise aims to enhance maritime cooperation and strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations.

The exercise also involved deck helicopters and aircraft from the Indian Navy, with Russian Ka-27 helicopters performing landings and takeoffs on the INS Rana. These drills underscore the longstanding defense relationship between India and Russia, reflecting their commitment to enhancing naval interoperability and addressing common maritime security challenges.
