Rural Visit : Agricultural development and infrastructure progress

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe, along with Deputy Minister U Myint Soe and officials, visited Shar Se Pho Village in Zeyathiri Township on Thursday.

They engaged with local farmers and the community, receiving reports on monsoon paddy yields and the repayment of agricultural provisions. Following the briefings, the Union Minister emphasized the need to implement strategies to triple crop production and enhance per-acre yield for increased income. He committed to ensuring the timely provision of agricultural inputs for farmers involved in winter crop cultivation.

After the meeting, the Union Minister inspected the ongoing construction of the Village Multi-Purpose Hall and a water purifying system. Additionally, he observed the operation of the river water pumping system, which temporarily blocks Sin Thay Creek. During the visit to the construction site of Sin Thay Creek Temporary Dam, the Union Minister underscored the importance of long-term maintenance efforts.
