Rural Development: Union Minister manages development works

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe visited the regional Small-Scale Industries Department and Weaving and vocational training school in Taunggyi Township of Shan State on 29th May.

During the meetings there, the Union Minister called for cooperation among departments to achieve the goals and implement the policies of the Ministry, and arrangements to provide capital and equipment needed for those who have completed the training course.

And, the Union Minister inspected completion of the construction of village primary school built with the Village Development Project fund of 2022-2023 FY of Department of Rural Development in PhaungHmu Village. He also met with the village committee members and locals and coordinated their reports on the village development.

On 30th May, the Union Minister and party met with members of the cooperative enterprise in Halkal  Village. On the occassion, the Union Minister said that loans will be disbursed for 200 arces of farmland within Taunggyi Township area. He also heard reports on the monsoon paddy plantation, cooperation for projects and development of the village and gave necessary instructions.
