Rural Development: Union Minister makes inspections in Mon State

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe on Sunday made inspections in Mon State.

In Mawlamyaing Township, the Union Minister inspected completion of the rural production road construction in YoeGoeYwaHaung  Village. The, the Union Minister also met with locals and explained the Ministry’s efforts including infrastructure development and agriculture and livestock sector acceleration processes. He also urged them to establish a cooperative enterprise and coordinated the matters presented by the locals.

After inspecting the road, the Union Minister called for maintenance. He also inspected road upgrade work between the Mawlamyaing-Mudon-Thanbyuzayat Road and the ThaMaNya SetKyar Hill and stressed the importance of quality and maintenance.

The Union Minister also inspected the Weaving and Vocational Training School in Mudon Township and heard report on training courses. In his response, the Union Minister inspected the Weaving and Vocational Training School and heard report on training courses.

In his response, the Union Minister pledged to provide equipment to run business after completing courses and to create job employment. There, he also coordinated matters presented by instructors and trainees.

Also, the Union Minister inspected the Cooperative Accounting Vocational Training School and stressed that students who will complete the 2-year course are eligible to attend cooperative colleges and universities if they meet the specified qualifications. He also pledged to make job creation. There, the Union Minister also inspected construction of a two-storey building.
