Rural Development: New Jetty and approach way commissioned into service

Opening ceremony of jetty and approach way was held in KhaMaukMaw village, KyaukChaung village-tract in Ngaputaw township, Ayeyawaddy Region on 9th March with the presence of Chief Minster U Tin Maung Win. Before the ceremony, the Chief Minister and officials observed the completion of jetty and approach way.

Next, the Chief Minister , Social Affairs Minister and District Administrator formally opened the jetty and approach way by cutting the ribbon. The jetty is 30-ft long and 20-ft wide facility while the approach way is 80-ft long and 8-ft wide.

The facilties were constructed by Rural Development Department with Union Budget allotment for 2023-2024 fiscal year. The construction work was started in the fourth week of June 2023 and completed in 22nd February 2024. According to Ngaputaw Township Rural Development Department, the facility will benefit for 436 households in the village.
