


Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo inspected Mechanized Farming Central Training School in Meikhitla on 2nd April.
The Union Minister stressed the needs of human resources for transforming to mechanized farming system. It also needed to conduct effective training to be skillful in using farm equipment. Training on hand tractors, paddy cultivating machine, harvesting machine and usage and maintenance of farm equipment have been conducted at the training school.
One-year Certificate course will be opened for those who completed the Technical High School.
The Union Minister and party later inspected HsaukInn River Water Pumping Project, being implemented near HsaukInn Village in SintKai Township in Kyaukse District. The project will benefit over 9,000 acres agriculture land. In meeting with local farmers, the Union Minister discussed for form Water User Groups, and systematic implementation of water feeding canals.
Later in the day, the Union Minister and party inspected NatYayKan fish breeding camps in Amarapura Township. Over 8.1 million fingerlings have been produced from the camp during 2021-2022 fiscal year. They later met with pig breeders and agricultural entrepreneurs at HtonBo Pig Breeding Farm and discussed for systematic land use and long-term development of the works for the interests of the region and nation as well.
