Rural Development: MCRD Union Minister tours in Yangon

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe visited Hla Garment Industry in Yay Twin Kone Village of Hmawby Township in Yangon Region on Monday, and inspected the production process.

He also visited Myanmar Integrated Engineering Group Company in Kyaukarkwin Village and oversaw the process of cotton thread production, dying the thread and cloths. These factories produce cotton threads by recycling the wastes of garment factories.

The Union Minister instructed for extended operation through strong market penetration. They then inspected the concrete paving of the road connecting Fugyi and Takhuntaing Villages, and urged the locals for long term maintenance of the facility.

At Shwe Myayarkone Village, the Union Minister met with local villagers and called for participation of local community in implementation of development works. He then inspected the concrete paving of village road.

On arrival at the Machinery Garage of Rural Road Development Department in Pearl Myothit, and met with the staff. The Union Minister instructed for systematic implementation of the maintenance works for long term durability, and inspected the maintenance works and lab rooms for civil works.
