Rural Development: MCRD Deputy Minister tours in Ayeyawady Region

Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myint Soe visited Kankalay Village in Kyaungkone Township of Ayeyawady Regon on Sunday to overs the construction progress of village road. The 1,180 ft long road is being undertaken by the Department of Rural Development under the budget allotment of Village Development Program for 2024-2025 fiscal year.

In meeting with local villagers, the Deputy Minister urged all to achieve targeted yields while striving for regional development works. In Thabawtchaung Village, the Deputy Minister inspected the implementation of solar-powered irrigation project and thriving paddy plantation. In Pathein, they visited the Cooperative Accounting Vocational Education Training Center and oversaw the construction of 3-storey hostel.
