Rural Development: Kachin State Chief Minister meets with locals

For rural development, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan held talks with locals at the basic education high school in TarLawGyi Village.

There, he stressed the government’s readiness to provide agricultural inputs for increased production of agricultural products, high-yielding pure strains and additional crops. And, the meeting focused on education and health sectors, upgrade of the TarLawGyi-ShweNyaungBin-Waingmaw Road, electrification and agricultural issues.

The Chief Minister also provided paddy and vegetable seeds to farmers and growers as well as cash assistance for the Cash For Work project, the Village Development Programme, bridge construction and educational and healthcare staff. Also, in the village, the Chief Minister inspected construction of a clinic and 2 staff housings, held talks with the healthcare staff and provided cash assistance. He also visited the pickled corn factory in this village area.
