





In a gesture to celebrate the 77th Anniversary Union Day, the opening ceremony of 1 mile 5 furlong concrete road was conducted at Pha Yar Pyo Village of Magway Township on 9th February. This village road, connecting from Magway-Nay Pyi Taw Road to Pha Yar Pyo (North) and (South) villages, was implemented with 2023-2024 fiscal year budget funds approved by the Township Rural Road Development Department.
During the ceremony, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin unveiled the ceremonial signboard with the press of auto button. The Chief Minister together with Deputy Minister U Myint Soe and Regional Government Ministers inaugurated the new road by cutting the ceremonial ribbon and later oversaw the road. The Chief Minister and Deputy Minister then delivered speeches respectively.
Afterwards, the Deputy Minister inspected the 6-furlong concrete paving works on Pay Pin Yoe-Bagan Hmyaw Road and heard the reports on the works undertaking presented by the departmental officials. The Deputy Minister gave instructions for timely completion of the projects and coordinated the requirements based on the reports.
Upon project completion, the Pay Pin Yoe-Bagan Hmyaw road will be fulfilled the education, health, and socio-economic needs of 2,197 local residents from 442 households in 3 villages. Then, the Deputy Minister cordially met with the local farmers and fulfilled the needs upon the reports.
