Rural development efforts: MoCRD Union Minister inspected rural developments

The Ministry of Cooperative and Rural Development is putting endeavors with the guidance of the Union Government for the improvement of individual income of the rural population in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area and the higher income and socio-economic life of the people in rural area from actual undertaking of agriculture, livestock breeding and small scale commodity production and the active cooperation of the local residents, said, Union Minister for Cooperative and Rural Development while meeting with the local residents in the villages in Tatkone, Zayyarthiri and Pubbathiri Townships on 28th April.

At the Magyibin Village of Tatkone Township, Union Minister cordially met with the local people, heard the clarification by the staff officer of the Department of Rural Development, urged the local residents to cooperate for the emergence of commercial scale agricultural commodity production enterprises, coordinated requirements submitted by the locals, viewed the irrigation using solar power.

Next, the Union Minister inspected 9.09 acres of summer paddy and 62.52 acres of summer crop green gram cultivated on the advance agricultural farm co-developed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation and the Ministry of Cooperative and Rural Development in Gwe Pin Village of Tatkone Township, heard of the responsible officials of relevant departments and local people and instructed necessary matters.

Then, the Union Minister inspected the cultivation of summer paddy and summer crops at Sharr Sey Pho village of Zayyarthiri Township and Aye Myint Thayar and Be Gone Villages of Pubbathiri Township situated at the left and right sides of Hsin-Thay Creek temporary reservoir and crops cultivations with the electric water pumping irrigation and instructed necessary matters.
