Rural Development: Development works in Ayeyawady Region inspected

Union Minister for Cooperative and Rural Development U Hla Moe together with Ayeyawaddy Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win and officials made inspection in Ayeyawady Region.

On 2nd September, the Union Minister and party inspected the paving concrete on 620 feet long and 12 feet wide road in Shan Kwin Village of Pyapon Township.

After hearing reports by the officials, the Union Minister gave necessary instructions and coordinated the requirements.  The Union Minister and party later arrived at ThalateGyi Village and inspected the construction of 160 feet long reinforced concrete bridge on Pa Hsa Nga- Gyowah Kyankhin road.

The officials clarified the progress of works, and the Union Minister gave necessary instructions. They then viewed around the monsoon paddy platation in Latpan and Kun Dai Gyi Villages, being implemented with the State Economic Promotion Fund and gave necessary instructions. 

On the same day, the Union Minister met with the member farmers from 13 Cooperative Associations in Pyapon, and the regional staff officer clarified the working processes.

After hearing the reports, the Union Minister said that the government is assisting seeds, fertilizer and inputs, and farmers are responsible to strive their best for achieving the targeted yield.

And, he also said that cultivation method and sufficient supply of irrigated water will be assisted in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation.

The Union Minister also fulfilled the requirements on the reports of the member farmers. Then, they met with the trainees from Motorcycle Repair Training Course conducted by the Department of Small Scale Enterprise (Ma-Ubin) in Lae Kaing Village.

He said that necessary technique and capital will be provided to the outstanding trainees to be able to run their own businesses. Later, they visited the Rice Mill in Nyaung Done Township and gave necessary instructions on the reports by the officials.
