




Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myint Soe conducted a tour of Kayin State on September 16th.
During his visit, he explored the Weaving and Vocation Training School in Pa-An, where he engaged with the Principal, instructors, and trainees. He also received reports on the progress of vocation training courses.
Deputy Minister U Myint Soe encouraged the trainees to apply the knowledge they acquired during the training in their respective businesses or cooperative ventures.
Furthermore, Deputy Minister U Myint Soe observed the weaving process undertaken by the trainees and inspected their hostel and mess hall facilities.
At the Township Rural Development Department Office, he participated in a ceremony to allocate funds for the Village Development Project and Emerald Green Project.
A total of 225 million kyats in funds were distributed to support 10 villages. During discussions with department staff under the ministry, Deputy Minister U Myint Soe emphasized the importance of adhering to rules and regulations and discussed their specific needs.
